I highly recommend Lakota as a teacher of therapeutic yoga- and an incredible human, who even in the brief time that we worked together, helped facilitate my learning about myself and my body in a way that has truly stuck with me...
We did three sessions together. We spoke about my [physical] and behavioral patterns, and focused our work accordingly. My work with Lakota centered on yielding and pushing in poses—this work helped protect my body, while linking body [awareness] to my emotional experience and behavioral goals!
[After sessions] Lakota would email me tailored write-ups of what we worked on… there is really nothing more helpful when you are looking to bring what you have learned in session into your daily life! I still look at her suggestions all the time. I am so grateful.

Just wanted to say thank you for everything! It has been so wonderful getting to learn from you and be around your beautiful spirit. You helped create a space that [is] so nurturing and warm.. and a practice that has helped me very much and i couldn't be more grateful. ~lilly.

lila is the play of being embodied, the play of infinite intelligence on form and matter, a game of hide and seek...
loka are the worlds we inhabit, myriad expressions of Self, or as i see it, the parts of ourselves which can sometimes seem fractured or estranged from each other...
yoga means to bring together, union or the means thereby...
...through the play of yoga, we bring these estranged parts together. through inquiry and attention, we approach a more integrated experience of ourselves & our world. we come to know, maybe for the first time: our innate intelligence, our compassion, our creative potential, our playful, unbroken spirit & the pure joy that is our birthright....
